original parts which I kept for reference, even considering aging/wear of the paint. The original Platinum Mist was "grayer," which I kind of prefer. And on top of that this is actually the second paint job on my car- they were originally trying to match the first repaint but failed miserably. That's how this iteration of silver evolved- they bascially said, let's go back to basic since we have the formula. Well- still didn't work, but I could and do concede that it doesn't look half-bad, either. I guess these are the breaks with repaints and I can accept that.
